When a fire roared through their Palm Coast, FL neighborhood, Jim and Debby Hodges fled so quickly they had to leave behind their beloved mutt Elvis. What they didn't know was that off-duty firefighter John Bartlett had sprayed the Hodges property with his experimental fire-stopping gel. When Jim and Debby returned, not only did they find their house untouched by fire, but Elvis's doghouse was blessedly intact - with it's "…hunk-a, hunk-a tail waggin' love" safe inside!! The only thing burning on Elvis was his gratitude to John and his new gel. As Jim Hodges puts it, "That gel is the best invention since the fire truck".
Fire blocking gels have successfully been used in fires sine the 1998 Canadian fires at Slave Lake, as well as in the 1998 Florida fires and 2000 Montana fires. Reports from these fires further support lab test results as to the insulating value of gel application during structure protection. What Personal Information Do We Collect?
